Lime wash Interior Remodel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles

This Beverly Hills property was a full cosmetic remodel designed to prepare the home for resale while elevating its overall feel through material consistency and subtle texture.

We worked with a returning Los Angeles developer client to define a finish strategy that would enhance the space without overcomplicating it.

Design Approach

The goal for this project was to create a cohesive interior that felt calm, natural, and market-ready.

We chose limewash as the primary finish across all walls due to its ability to introduce soft movement while remaining cost-effective for large-scale application. The intention was not to create statement walls, but a consistent atmosphere throughout the home..

Application & Process

We began by addressing surface imperfections across the property, repairing dents and inconsistencies before applying a quartz-based primer designed specifically for limewash systems.

Two coats of limewash were applied in Portola Paints Eastwood, a light tone that responds subtly to changing light conditions.

In select areas, Concretta and Firenze finishes were introduced to add material variation without disrupting the overall continuity.

What We’ve Seen on This Project

In resale-focused projects like this, overdesigning can work against the end goal. Keeping the material palette controlled while focusing on execution tends to produce a stronger overall result.

Lime wash performs especially well in these scenarios because it adds depth without making the space feel overly specific to one style.

Result

The finished home feels cohesive and naturally elevated. The walls carry a soft variation that shifts with light, giving the space a sense of depth without drawing attention to the finish itself.

The project achieved its goal of increasing perceived value while remaining efficient in execution.
